Frequently Asked Questions
Do you provide coverage for New York City operations?
At this time, we do not place coverage for businesses performing work in New York City (five boroughs). Coverage availability is subject to underwriting and carrier guidelines.
What types of contractors do you typically work with?
We focus on low-hazard artisan contractors performing routine work in residential and light commercial settings, such as property maintenance, painting, flooring installation, and cleaning services.
Is coverage guaranteed once I submit a request?
No. All coverage requests are reviewed to confirm eligibility, operations, and underwriting requirements. Coverage placement and pricing are subject to underwriting approval.
How quickly will my request be reviewed?
Coverage review requests are evaluated in the order received. If additional information is required, we will follow up directly to proceed.
Do I need to provide documents when submitting a request?
Documents are not required at the time of submission. However, providing a current policy or declaration page, if available, may help speed the review process.
Can you issue Certificates of Insurance (COIs)?
Yes, for eligible insureds. Certificates of insurance are issued in accordance with policy terms and carrier requirements once coverage is in place.
What if my operations don’t fit your placement guidelines?
If your operations fall outside our current placement criteria, we’ll let you know as early as possible so you can explore alternative options.
